Step 1

After finding the target icon in your newspaper, take it to a web camera equipped PC.

Step 2

Log onto to the NATM2 site http://www.nightatthemuseum2comestolife.com.au/

Step 3

On the http://www.nightatthemuseum2comestolife.com.au/ site, you will find instructions along with videos to help guide you through the installation process. When you are ready to proceed, click the image of the target you got from your newspaper to begin.

Step 4

You have an option to view the characters in your browser (view on the webpage) or download the application. (To your hard-drive and view all experiences without being on the internet).

Step 5

When you are ready to proceed with the browser experience, click the image of the target icon (Rex, Squid or Plane) you got from your newspaper to begin.

Step 6

As the loading page launches, you will be prompted to install an Active X Controller. Click on the yellow tab at the top of the page to install.

Step 7

A window will pop up with the Active X installer. Click ‘install’ to begin the installation process.

Step 8

Read the user license and click ‘I accept.’ Press the install button.

Step 9

The installation process will begin when you see a progress and loading bar. This step will only occur for your first time you load the T.I. application activation. Once it has completed downloading, the player will install. On a cable modem it will take approximately 45 seconds to 1 minute to complete. Slower connections will slow the process.

Step 10

If you have more than one webcam connected to your computer, you will be prompted to choose the webcam you would prefer to use. If you do not have a webcam successfully connected to your computer, an error message will appear. Please connect the webcam. You must have a webcam to go further. If you have 1 webcam successfully connected, you will be taken immediately into the experience and see the light on your webcam turn on.

Step 11

When you see yourself in the screen, present the target icon (Rex, Squid or Plane) face up towards the webcam and watch as the image magically comes to life. The Character will appear on the image. Enjoy.
